The high and low cooling fan relays in the 98 Ford Escortr are loacated in the CCRM Constant Control Relay Module which is located on the base of the drivers side strut tower underneath the air filter module. It is a small box with quite a number of wires running into it. All Rights Reserved. Does any one know where our friends in detroit know where they hid the fuel pump relay on a ford escort SE wagon? Rowefast answered 2 years ago. Try looking underneath the intake housing attached to the base of the right strut tower. Fuel pump relays are typically located in the power distribution box under the hood or mounted on the Drivers side fender wall. The Fuel pump relay, AC relay and Starter Relay are all the same type and interchangeable so you can change them out between each other, like move the AC relay to the Fuel pump relay position and see if that resolves the problem.
