‘Conker’ Cutesy but Crass; ‘Bouncer’ Pretty but Passive
Conker's Bad Fur Day | To The Bitter End | The Gameological Society
Replay value: 5. It had a cutesy squirrel jumping from multiple platforms, squishing bad guys, and basically doing everything any other platformer had previously done. Then, Rare got nasty. It has blood, it has sexual themes, and it has cursing. This game is definitely aimed at adults.
This was a game my barely pubescent self had to play. Sure, the sex was 8-bit, but in my day, we used our imaginations. It was a game for adults. It was gonna be dirty. The beer-swilling squirrel and chesty rabbit on the box were just a hint of the unspeakable filth that would spill from your console while you played.
Print aaron. So save it. Its levels ooze with excrement, its female characters are treated either as sex objects or shrews and the hero--a hung-over squirrel named Conker--defeats some of his enemies by urinating on them.
